Is Winter Here YET?





Just some Editorial, But if you don't own a Toggle Coat you've got to get one, the key is you've got to know how to wear it. They just give me a very Vintage feel. I found one for very inexpensive I think it's 
from Heritage, However I'm still looking for another one for
 this Winter, If it ever gets here. My finds came from GQ, 
Detail, SE and just some overall searching through 
street styles.

Fashion is not something that you "just do"... It has to be inspired! Inspiration can sprout from anything, but most importantly it comes from within! With that being said, I would like to extend a tribute to the roaring 20's! The 1920's, Jazz Age, Era of Flappers, is my personal inspiration because it exemplifies what a lady should be plus edge! Who could ask for more from such a timeless generation?!?! I'll wait............. Exactly! It's fashion, at it's BEST! ♥

Just Enough 2579461

It doesn't take much to accent your jean jacket or sports coat with a simple pocket scarf. The key to is to Be Impractical. Just go for it. I've been doing some looking around, and as of now the thrift store topped my findings. When shopping a thrift is typically  my first stop and usually my last too, but I was doing my daily rambling though some sites GQ and Detail in particular 
just looking through some street styles.

Girls Around the World

In my daily exploration of inspiration, I ran across a few fab photos of what, I believe, has been deemed a necessity in every fashionable female's collection, the widely held BLAZER. The http://lookbook.nu/ is the root of my main findings here, along with the ever so worshiped VOGUE magazine. As an extra-curricular glance, I went far but near (via internet) and took some findings from a cute little Asian site (http://www.mymingpai.com). In summation This fall's blazer can be displayed from street to work, from day to night, from the office to the club. Girl's just want to have fun!

Lookbook: Teal Blazor paired with croped jeans, simple white tee and oversized shades appropriate for a brunch date.
Lookbook: Black Blazer over peasant top, light wash jeans, brown shoulder satchel and a fedora for relaxed looked.
Lookbook: Thrifted plaid BLAZER joined by a men's button up, 90's shorts over brown tights, brown brief tote but with round toes to soften up the other masculine pieces. 
MyMingPai: Yves Saint Larent 1940's box cut BLAZER borrowed straight from your boyfriend's closet.
VOGUE: ...... Speaks for itself!

Our very own Lacresha Fikes inspired this look for "TheFWord". I can't remember exactly when it was I think maybe early August or mid September she introduced this look to "The Hill". We were searching for a look to shoot and we all decided maybe we should take it back to the very basics, but of course with our own twist. Fashion forward look inspired
